According to documents filed yesterday, Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis' coffee ventures are profitable.

The document, the 2014 Statements of Economic Interest, show that Davis' three location coffee venture known as Grace Coffee Roasters generated profits. The stores located at 2475 Elk Grove Blvd. and 1215 K Street, Sacramento, each showed a profit between $0 and $499 for the period ending December 31, 2014.

Davis valued the Elk Grove Boulevard store, which he listed himself as co-owner of the sole proprietorship, between $10,001 and $100,000. The K Street location, which Davis listed himself as a co-owner of Grace Coffee Esquire Plaza, Limited Liability Company, is valued between $0 and $1,999.

Since he launched it, the business' slogan has been "Drink Great Coffee. Change The World." As part of its marketing strategy, Davis has committed to donate 10-percent of profits to aid Courage House

Davis' original location, the kiosk located on Elk Grove-Florin Road and Elk Grove Boulevard, is not separately listed on the report. Davis' complete report, which included gifts he received in 2014, can be viewed here
