Batter Up! - Do You Have Any Special Opening Day Memories?

Opening Day of Major League Baseball is just days away. 

Although it has been described in many ways, we like to view it as New Years Day in April. It is a day where the slate is clean, everyone is even in the standings, possibilities are endless, and hope for success is everywhere. All is right in the world on Opening Day.

We are inviting readers to submit any opening day memories, pleasant or otherwise, for a piece we are putting together. The opening day memories are not confined to MLB games either - they can include any level of baseball.
