Two parolees were arrested early Friday morning after they allegedly attempted to burglarize an Elk Grove residence.

According to Elk Grove Police, 25-year old Demetrious Jeter and 19-year old Isiaih Jordan attempted to break-into an occupied residence on the 10200 block of Nick Way. The two suspects fled the scene and responding officers located them a short distance away.

A records search revealed both suspects were on parole and that shotgun shells were located in Jeter's vehicle. Both suspects were taken into custody and booked into the county jail where they remain ineligible for bail.
