'Elf' Showing in Old Town Elk Grove This Saturday Night

A special outdoor screening of the popular Christmas-themed movie "Elf" will take place this Saturday night in Old Town Elk Grove.

Dubbed as the "Merry Movie Night," festivities for the family-friendly event will start at 5 p.m. and will be held in the Old Town Plaza in Elk Grove. Participants are urged to bring their blankets and chairs to watch the popular movies starring Will Ferrell.

Along with the movie, the event will feature an Elf Yourself Costume Contest, a sELFie station and a Christmas Carole sing along. The film will be screened at 6:30 p.m.

Participants are also encouraged to bring unwrapped new toys for the Elk Grove Police & Fire toy drive. Everyone who donates will receive a raffle ticket and we will be giving away some great gifts from Mikuni, Todo un Poco, Grocery Outlet, Above and Beyond Cakes and several other local Elk Grove businesses.

Admission to the event is free and will be held conditional on weather.
