Smoking Suspect Attacks Woman Who Told Her to Quit Smoking in Front of Kids

January 29, 2016 |

A Sacramento woman was arrested yesterday afternoon after she allegedly attacked a woman who complained about her smoking inside a car with children.

The 40-year old female victim was parked in her car on the 5000 block of Laguna Boulevard with her 16-year old daughter when they observed 30-year old Christina Anderson (pictured above), who was smoking in her car with children present. The victim commented about Anderson smoking a cigarette inside of a vehicle with kids in the car.

Anderson heard the comments and threw her lit cigarette inside the victim's car where it landed on the 16-year old's lap. As Anderson exited the vehicle, she confronted the mother and struck her in the face with a closed fist resulting in a visible injury.

Anderson fled the scene in her vehicle and was located and detained by responding officers. The victim placed Anderson under a citizen’s arrest.

A records check revealed that Anderson was on parole. Anderson was arrested and booked into the county jail where she remains in custody ineligible for bail.

Where is all the trash coming from?

She could have caused that child's clothes to catch fire.
