I guess it takes money to get your name out there, but it takes the little people to still check the right box on their ballot. So when the dust settles, I can understand how these people are led to believe they are doing a good job--because they keep getting re-elected!

So we gotta ask-is it the money that allows them to print glossy flyers and big signs that makes them the winner? Is it public relations and the media packaging of the candidate that makes them the winner? Is it being an incumbent and having no major publicized screw-ups making them the winner? Is it the political party affiliation and long laundry list of endorsements that makes them the winner? If you answered No to these questions, read below. If you answered yes to the above, then you score an A for the day.

Okay, so you believe these characters keep getting elected because they have the DNA of born leaders and visionaries, right? These guys keep getting elected because they have a winning track record of accomplishments and money plays no part in them getting elected, right? These guys keep running unopposed because everyone knows they are doing such a great job and that any potential challenger would have nothing to poke them about, right? If you answered yes to all of these, then I have a new sales tax, uncapped property assessments,a soccer revenue bond, and a bunch of new cracker-box rooftops to sell you!

Happy Voting!
