Elk Grove, Country Western Station KNCI Team-up For Old Town Plaza Concert

March 22, 2016 |

Next Wednesday night, the City of Elk Grove and Sacramento-based Country Western station KNCI 105.1 FM will co-host a concert event that brings the sounds of Nashville to Old Town Plaza in Elk Grove.

The Nashville in the Neighborhood will feature recording artists Kip Moore, Dan and Shay and William Michael Morgan. Doors to the event will open at 5:30 p.m.

“We’re excited to be working with KNCI to bring more nightlife and great music to Elk Grove,” Mayor Gary Davis said. “This is another opportunity for our residents to enjoy performances right where they live and to showcase our community to regional visitors.”

Nashville in the Neighborhood will be produced by CBS Radio property KNCI 105.1, the producer of other major country music events in the region including the annual Country in the Park. General Admission and VIP tickets are now available for purchase online at www.kncifm.com and surcharge free when paying with cash at all Dimple Record locations.

In 2015, the City of Elk Grove introduced Boots on the Blvd, a country music concert at the Old Town Plaza that featured Nashville artist Craig Campbell. The City of Elk Grove and KNCI are also collaborating to bring that event back this summer.

Maybe I can get Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and Moose together and the Archies can perform a special reunion concert at the Old Town Plaza!
