University of California Cooperative Extension Offering Youth Gardening Workshop

University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Sacramento County presents Youth Gardening Workshops. The UCCE's Master Gardeners of Sacramento County will teach soil preparation and planting at the Elk Grove Community Garden to youth, ages 8 to 14. To register, call (916) 479-3825. 

There will be three classes to select from:

  • Thursday, April 7, 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.  
  • Monday, April 11, 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. 
  • Saturday, April 16, 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. 
  • Location: Elk Grove Community Garden 10025 Hampton Oak Drive Elk Grove, CA 95624 
  • Cost: One (1) non-perishable food item for the Elk Grove Food Bank.
