Registered Sex Offender, Homeless Suspect With Warrants Arrested by Elk Grove Police

As suspect listed as a transient is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail on over a half-million dollar bail after being contacted yesterday morning.

The suspect, 34-year old Joshua Singh was contacted by Elk Grove Police near Bruceville Road and Four Seasons Drive yesterday morning. Singh was found to have two active arrests warrants, was in possession of narcotics and is a registered sex offender who has not updated his listing since 2015. 

Singh was arrested and booked into the county jail where he is being held on $576,153 and faces a variety of misdemeanor and felony charges. Singh's arraignment is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
