An Elk Grove yogurt shop was robbed by someone claiming to be armed with a gun on Friday night.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m on Friday, October 21, an unknown person entered the Tiger Yogurt Shop on the 8500 block of Elk Grove Boulevard and approached the front counter. When the employee offered assistance, the man passed a note indicating he was armed and demanding money.

The employee obliged with the demands, opened the cash register and the suspect reached in and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the store on foot and the employee was not hurt.

The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 30's, 6’0”, 220 lbs., wearing a gray beanie, a dark colored hoodie, and dark sweatpants.
