Elk Grove Metro PCS Store Robbed, Suspect Gets Away With iPhone

An Elk Grove cell phone store employee was injured by an unknown suspect following a shoplifting incident.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 16, an unknown suspect described as a black male adult entered the Metro PCS store on the 8400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. The suspect grabbed an Apple iPhone that was on display and fled.

A store employee confronted the suspect and a struggle ensued outside the store. The suspect punched the employee in the arm causing resulting in a minor injury.

The suspect fled in red vehicle and was not located.
