5 a.m. - Josef Weston has been safely located.

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating an at-risk missing juvenile, 13-year-old Josef Weston (photo above), who has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Josef ran away from his residence on the 5100 block of Laguna Park Drive last night around 9:40 p.m. after an argument with his parents. Josef Weston is described as an African American male juvenile, 5’6”, 100 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

According to his parents, Josef was only wearing underwear when he left his residence. An Everbridge alert was sent out to residents in close proximity to Weston’s residence in an effort to help locate him. Officers later received information that Josef had been seen in the area of Descendant Drive and Big Horn Boulevard around 10:24 p.m.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Josef Weston is asked to contact the Elk Grove Police Department Dispatch Center at (916) 691-5246.
