On Sunday, December 11, officers responded to a shooting call on the 700 block of South Garfield Street. They located a 22-year old male with a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound that left him paralyzed.

Following their investigation, police served the warrants on two 17-year old males who were arrested for their involvement in the shooting. Both suspects were booked into juvenile hall.
