The Cosumnes Community Services District has announced they will be offering a host of youth summer days camps starting in late May.
Teen Summer Adventure Camp is a day camp for students entering grades 7 – 9. Camp operates out of The Grove Teen Center inside the Wackford Community Complex (9014 Bruceville Road). Camp runs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 31 to August 4. Half-day sessions are also available.
This teen day camp offers activities that
incorporate fun weekly themes including indoor and outdoor games, art projects,
contests, sports and daily swimming at the Wackford Aquatic Complex. Full-day registration includes weekly field
trips to John’s Incredible Pizza, California State Fair, Skate Town, the movies
and more.
Kid Central Summer Day Camp is an outdoor camp for children currently enrolled in grades
K – 6. It is located at the Youth Center
in Elk Grove Park (9922 Elk Grove-Florin Road). Camp runs weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 31 to August 4.
This elementary day camp offers games, arts
and crafts, sports, science fun, playground adventures, daily swimming at the
Jerry Fox Swim Center, field trips, and special events based on awesome themes.
Elementary Summer Sports Camp is an outdoor/indoor multi-sport camp for children ages
6 – 12. It is located at the Wackford Community Complex and is offered from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. during four weekly sessions from June 26 to July 28 (no camp
July 3 – 7).
This sports camp is for kids who want to
improve their athletic skills or just have fun in a recreational environment.
Camp leaders focus on improving skills through drills and fun games while
emphasizing fair play and teamwork. Campers will have the opportunity to swim
daily at the Wackford Aquatic Complex.
