A parked vehicle was struck and damaged by gunfire in Elk Grove this weekend.
On Sunday, May 28, Elk Grove Police received a report of a parked vehicle on the 9000 block of Willowberry Way was struck by a gunfire from a handgun by an unknown suspect. The gunfire shattered the rear window of the vehicle and a bullet was located in the garage door framing of a nearby residence.
Additionally, two rocks were also thrown through the front window of a residence. There is no additional information available at this time regarding the incident.
