Victim Assaulted, Robbed of iPhone at Gunpoint Near Elk Grove School

A man trying to sell his iPhone was robbed at gunpoint and assaulted in the parking lot of an Elk Grove high school.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday, June 12 the victim met the suspect who was posing to purchase the phone in the parking lot of Monterey Trails High School. Upon arrival, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the device.

Two additional suspects exited a nearby vehicle, approached the victim, assaulted the victim and took his iPhone and additional personal property. The suspects fled in a white four-door vehicle. 

The suspect brandishing the gun was described as an adult Asian male, wearing a white shirt with jeans. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects.
