Shooting in Elk Grove Under Investigation

The Elk Grove Police Department has reported a shooting that occurred this morning.
According to information posted on social media, police report there was a shooting on the 9500 block of Derr Street. The known suspect fled the residence and is currently at large.
There was a report of one injury at the scene but it was not caused by the gunfire. The incident is currently under investigation.
