Suspected Fraudster in Custody Arrested by Elk Grove Police, Held on 15 Felony Charges

A suspect who was already in custody learned that Elk Grove Police filed additional charges against her.

On Friday, February 2, Pang Thao, 32, of Elk Grove was arrested while being incarcerated at the Sacramento County Jail. Thao was arrested on suspicion of felony charges of writing bad checks, grand theft, obtaining money on false pretenses, and violation of probation.

Thao was in custody for 11 previous felony charges. Those charges included multiple charges of  writing bad checks, grand theft, obtaining money on false pretenses, and violation of probation. 

Arraignment is on Tuesday, February 6, and Thao is not eligible for release on bail.
