Domestic Violence Suspect Allegedly Slashes Victim with Razor, Arrested by Elk Grove Police

An Elk Grove woman was arrested on domestic violence and assault charges after she allegedly attacked her victim with a razor knife.

Just after 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 Elk Grove responded to a call regarding domestic violence. Angelica Navarette, 38 reportedly arrived at the victim's residence and during an argument, slashed the victim with a razor.

After the victim sustained a minor wound, Navarette fled the residence and responding officers were able to locate her hiding in her parked vehicle. A record search revealed Navarette was on probation.

Navarette is held on four felony and three misdemeanor charges and is not eligible for release. Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13.
