UC Cooperative Extension presenting 'Wonderful World of Worms' composting workshop for gardeners

The University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Sacramento County services and will be hosting a workshop that could be useful for every backyard gardener, the "Wonderful World of Worms."
- The workshop will be teaching the basics of worm composting
- how to make a worm bin, types of bedding
- how to care for your worms, what to feed your worms
- the benefits of worm composting, and
- simple ways to harvest your worm compost

The workshop is free and will be held at Sierra 2 Center, 2791 24th Street, Sacramento, on Saturday, May 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and registration is required. Registration can be completed here.
