Suspect leads Elk Grove Police on short pursuit in reported stolen vehicle


A Sacramento man was arrested after leading Elk Grove Police on a short vehicle pursuit on Thanksgiving evening. 

Just after 8 p.m officer observed a vehicle being driven by Ferdinand Milan Estonilo, 53, of Sacramento near Sheldon and Bruceville roads. Officer learned the vehicle had been reported stolen.

When officers attempted to stop Estonlio, he instead led them a short pursuit, After they were able to stop Estonilo and detain him, he was found in possession of shaved keys commonly used in vehicle thefts. 

Estonilo is held at the county jail and will be arraigned on Tuesday, December 3.
