Father kills son in apparent murder-suicide in Elk Grove

Elk Grove Police are investigating what they are calling an apparent murder-suicide.
According to the information posted on social media, just before 2 p.m this afternoon police received a report of a woman running out of a residence and screaming in the 5500 block of Tamarindo Lane in the north Laguna neighborhood.
Police have said the victim was the father's two-year-old son. No further investigation has been released and the investigation is ongoing.
