Victim mugged, another person subjected to failed ATM robbery in night time Elk Grove incidents



In two separate incidents last night in Elk Grove, one victim was subjected to an attempted robbery at an ATM and the other was mugged. 

Just after 9 p.m., a person using the ATM on the 5100 block of Laguna Boulevard was approached by an unknown person and demanded they withdraw money. After the victim was unable to withdraw cash, the suspect who was described as a Hispanic male approximately 40-years old and wearing a black hoody, pushed the victim and ran from the scene 

The second incident happened before 11 p.m. on the 9200 block of Laguna Springs Drive when the victim who was walking was approached by a suspect described at a Black male teenager grabbed their purse and pushed down the victim causing a visible injury. The suspect ran to a getaway car described as gray or white four-door sedan occupied by two males and fled the area.
