Portions of stabbing incident video released by Elk Grove Police



In hopes of identifying a suspect in a recent stabbing, Elk Grove Police have released portions of a video on social media.

The video, which as can be seen below, was from an incident on Thursday, February 27 around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Calvine and Elk Grove-Florin roads. There were two individuals fighting when the suspect stabbed the victim.

The video was captured on a cell phone, and the stabbing was not included in the release.  

The victim was taken by family members to a nearby hospital for a non-life threatening injury. The suspect, who was described as a white male, wearing a black helmet, black vest, blue jeans, and black shoes,  fled on his motorcycle. 

Detectives are looking to identify the suspect involved in this incident. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call (916) 478-8043.
