Elk Grove administrative law judge appointed to Sacramento Superior Court by Gov. Newsom



An administrative law judge who resides in Elk Grove was elected to the Sacramento Superior Court by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In an announcement issued on Friday, Deborah D. Lobre, 59 has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Sacramento County Superior Court. Lobre was one of 15 Superior Court judicial appointments announced by Newsom. 

Lobre has served as an administrative law judge for the California Department of Social Services since 2012 and was a deputy district attorney at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office from 1997 to 2012, where she was a supervising family support specialist from 1991 to 1997. 

A Democrats, Lobre earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Northern California, Lorenzo Patino School of Law. She fills the vacancy of a new position created on September 24, 2019.
