Political battle in Elk Grove spills into the streets - 'HMONG are NOT SHEEP'

Following last night's contentious meeting of the Elk Grove City Council, a reader send us this picture taken moments before this posting.

The poster was placed on a light pole on Elk Grove Boulevard in east Elk Grove near the Bel Air store. The poster references Elk Grove Unified School District Trustee Bobbie Singh-Allen and includes the caption "HMONG are NOT SHEEP. 

The poster also includes the address of an online petition calling for Singh-Allen's resignation for the EGUSD Board of Trustees. Singh-Allen has challenged Mayor Steve Ly in the November mayoral race.
