Two Saturday night sideshow street racers arrested by Elk Grove Police

Two Sacramento men who were involved in what police are calling a sideshow street race were arrested Saturday night.
According to Elk Grove Police, Elias Cristian Mack, 20, and Manuel Geraldo Valles Jr. were involved in the sideshow street race just after 11 p.m on Saturday, August 1 on the 10000 block of Big Horn Boulevard. When officers attempted to stop the vehicles, both motorists fled at a high rate of speed.
Both eventually stopped and both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail. Mack has been released and Valles remains in custody and faces two felony and one misdemeanor charges.
