Traffic Advisory in Elk Grove - Wednesday, December 23

From The City of Elk Grove

Road work will close a portion of Bradshaw Road at Grant Line Road and generate a lane closure on Grant Line Road on Wednesday, December 23.

This closure will affect all north and southbound traffic on Bradshaw Road south of Ridgerock Drive to Grant Line Road. Grant Line Road at Waterman Road will also be reduced to one lane and flaggers will be present to move traffic through the work area. Access for all property owners and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Crews will complete the relocation of an existing underground utility as part of the Grant Line Widening, Phase 2 Project. This project will widen Grant Line Road from two to four lanes, between Waterman Road and Bradshaw Road, and install traffic signals at Grant Line at Mosher and Grant Line at Bradshaw; which will reduce congestion and improve safety. The Project is a part of the Capital Southeast Connector known as Segment B2.

Affected Area: Bradshaw Road from Ridgerock Drive to Grant Line Road.

Detours and Alternate Routes: Motorists are encouraged to use Elk Grove Boulevard or Grant Line Road to get around this closure. Detour signs will direct motorists on these routes.

Re-opening: All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 24.
