I'm glad Jake Rambo's good name was cleared after the Police Department concluded its investigation. Too bad ex-Mayor Steve Ly's name was not cleared as well after the Police Department cleared him from wrongdoing. The ensuing hit pieces hurled at him through the local media and campaign flyers by our current Mayor essentially branded him as guilty unitl proven innocent. I'm no big fan of Steve Ly, but he took the high road in not responding to the much publicized allegations, and lost the election as a result. I doubt he is sweating it out wondering if the Grand Jury is going to issue a report on its findings--I'm not sure I can say the same of others.
