At this evening's meeting, the Elk Grove City Council will hear two items of significance. One is the expected adoption of Elk Grove's housing plan and the possible sale of taxpayer-owned land to a corporation.
In anticipation, regular contributor DJ Blutarsky has submitted two editorial cartoons.
I do not recall reading in the report that Kubota will receive an incentive. But to the point of the cartoon, given the city's desperation to look good in front of LAFCO, if there is any chance the company backs out, you can be certain the city council will open the coffers.
