Suspect who called in bomb threat detained by Elk Grove Police

An unidentified person who called in a bomb threat has been detained by Elk Grove Police.
This morning shortly after 9 a.m. Elk Grove Police posted on their social media feeds that officers responded to the 9200 block of Laguna Boulevard after receiving a bomb threat. Businesses in the area were notified while police investigated.
It was determined the threat was not credible, and one suspect has been detained as a result of the investigation. No further information about the suspect has been released.
Update: Through the course of the investigation, officers were able to determine the reported threat was false. The caller was contacted and detained.
