For anyone who lives east of Highway 99 in Elk Grove, and more specifically east of the Union Pacific tracks are undoubtedly stopped on almost a daily basis by trains.

Slow Train Entertainment presents, Boxcar Willie and The Poorboys performing live at the Old Town Plaza by the Tracks!
Bring your lawn chairs and catch Willie's limited engagement in Elk Grove. He will arrive promptly on the northbound 7:34pm train from Delano. Watch Willie do his famous Bojangles hop from the train and shuffle onto the stage!
So, follow the big neon sign to Old Town Plaza by the Tracks. Don't worry, there's plenty of overflow parking in the neighborhood to the east and discount beer is being provided by Dust Bowl Brewery. Be sure to arrive early because Willie has to catch the 10:15 to Manteca after this show!
Tickets go on sale Monday at Mail & More on Laguna Blvd. and be sure to tell them Willie sent you!
At least Manteca has a Big Leagues Dreams. Where's Elk Grove? Oh that's right, we sent BLD's owner packing after his presentation before the Elk Grove City Council, insulting him along the way by using BLD as a pawn, and pulling a bait and switch from the dais!
