Like many politicians, Jones also has a Twitter account which he tends to update more frequently and interacts with others. For instance, on February 12, Jones had two Tweets and four retweets, one of which is below.

Though he fell just a few votes short of 70% threshold to win the endorsement outright, he’s well over the 60% he’ll need to win the endorsement at the convention. Go Dave! pic.twitter.com/6BJ0GTn8dy
Even though he has fewer followers on Twitter versus Facebook, 3,246 compared to 9,000+ respectively, Jones tends to stake out more political stances on Twitter. In recent months Jones' has expressed support for environmental issues with a focus on climate change.
"One of the big ideas we have to normalize is: it is the time to leave the internal combustion engine behind. That cannot be a taboo if we are serious about the Paris Agreement."
