The COVID-19 pandemic has had countless effects worldwide. For a group of Elk Grove parents, the pandemic has led to their advocacy on behalf of Elk Grove Unified School District students

One group formed called The PACE Project – Parents Advocacy for Change in Education – has advocated on behalf of student and employees in the Elk Grove School District. Originally focused on returning students to classroom instruction, the parents have expanded their efforts.

On this edition of Elk Grove News Podcast we have a discussion with The Pace Project founders Erin Sommers, Joel Boyd and David Phommavong about their efforts. This is the first in a series of discussions planned with PACE.

This conversation was recorded on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
