Body camera video of Elk Grove Police officer[s] involved shooting released

Late this afternoon, the Elk Grove Police Department released body camera recordings of an officer[s]-involved shooting. The shooting took place on February 1, 2023, at approximately 4:55 p.m.

The suspect is accused of a Rancho Cordova murder that occurred earlier that day. The suspect remains in custody at the Sacramento County Jail.
