Did Elk Grove Mayor Singh-Allen steal thunder of a new career announcement for Councilmember Suen?

Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen addressed a city council member as Assembly member. |

During the Wednesday, June 28 Elk Grove City Council meeting, Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen made a comment regarding a career change from one of her city council colleagues.

During a hearing on an affordable housing project, Singh-Allen addressed City Councilmember Darren Suen as Assemblymember Suen. After incorrectly titling him, Singh-Allen then said he was going to work at the California Assembly.

Suen, who is employed with the California Department of Water Resources, did not elaborate on any career change. The state's fiscal year 2024 starts this Saturday.

EGN needs to back off on Mayor Bobbie!

We are truly blessed to have Mayor Bobbie sitting at the helm of our city. In her first mayoral campaign, she mowed down Steve Ly like a runaway freight train! Then she successfully fought off a recall attempt because her admiration for the Hmong culture was misunderstood.

Mayor Bobbie is a force majeure that will not be defeated!
