The following message is from the Elk Grove Animal Shelter:
“The Elk Grove Animal Shelter needs your help! We are extremely full with zero open kennels for cats and only a few open kennels for dogs. Many of our cat kennels are already split to accommodate more kittens, but even that emergency measure is not helping us much these days.
To help encourage adopters to open their home to a deserving shelter pet, we are making it Christmas in July! All adoption fees for all pets (including kittens and puppies) are just $25 through the entire month of July. Can you help us spread the word?”
The Elk Grove Animal Shelter is located at 9150 Union Parkway.
