City Councilmember Rod Brewer maintains fundraising efforts, reports $18,000 in contributions






Even though he will not be on the ballot until 2026, freshman Elk Grove City Councilmember Rod Brewer is not easing up on campaign fundraising.

Brewer, who won the District 2 seat formerly held by Sacramento County Supervisor with a plurality of votes in 2022, has received $18,808 for the six months ending June 30. The disclosure was on Mr. Brewer's Form 460 filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk.

Among Brewer's significant contributions are the following:
  • California Real Estate Association PAC - $2.500
  • Clay Investigation and Security, Sacramento - $1,000
  • Committee for Home Ownership, Northstate Building Industry Association - $3,500
  • Elk Grove Land Investment - $4,900
  • Laborers Local 185 - $1,249
  • Lead Star Security, Sacramento - $1,000
  • Operating Engineers Local 3 - $1,000
  • Pharwala Enterprises, dba Mountain Mike's Pizza - $1,200
  • Phoenix Enterprises - $1,200
  • Tailored Homes - $1,200

Brewer also reports campaign debts of $69,522, which were personal loans to finance his 2022 city council candidacy. His campaign fund reports $44,174 as of June 30.
