Suspect who fired shots into Elk Grove residence arrested




Elk Grove Police arrested a person suspected of firing several shots into the garage of an Elk Grove residence. 

Based on the investigation, detectives determined Isaiah Rosario, 25, drove to the victim’s residence near Black Kite Drive and Silverberry Avenue around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, August 6. After Rosario reportedly knocked on the door without an answer, he retrieved a gun from his vehicle and fired eight rounds into the garage. 
 
There were no injuries. Surveillance footage identified Rosario as the suspect, and he was located and arrested in Woodland on Thursday, August 10. 

Rosario was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of shooting at an occupied dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person. The suspect remains in custody ineligible for bail.
