Of the five Elk Grove City Council members, Rod Brewer was the first to report his campaign financing for 2023. Brewer filed his report with the Elk Grove City Clerk's office today.

According to his California Form 460, the first-term representative generated $3,045 in donations for the six months ending December 31. Brewer received $90,665 for the entire year, of which $21,133 came from donations, and the balance, $69,552, came from a personal loan.

During 2023, Brewer's significant donations came from the California Real Estate PAC, $4,900; Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 104, $945; and $200 from PG&E.

Interestingly, Brewer reported a cash increase of $345. On July 26, Brewer refunded $375 to the Stonewall Democratic Club of Greater Sacramento.
