The Elk Grove City Council heard public comments about the lack of affordable housing
for young families during the Wednesday, August 28 meeting. | 


The Elk Grove City Council held its 15th meeting of 2024. The meeting lasted just under three hours.

Among the significant topics discussed were a possible pay raise for Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen and her four city councilmen and a new ordinance to prohibit homeless encampments as allowed by a U.S. Supreme Court decision.
