Elk Grove Planning Commission meeting, August 1, 2024


The Elk Grove Planning Commission met on August 1, 2024. During its two-hour meeting, the five-member body heard four items. 

The most significant matter was an appeal of the city's zoning administrators' decision to grant variances to the Coral Blossom supportive housing project. That project, which was granted approval under the tenets of California's Senate Bill 35 process, will be located on Elk Grove-Florin Road.

Elizabeth Marshall, speaking for the appellants, delivered a blistering critique. During her presentation, Ms. Marshall harshly criticized Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen, her four city councilmen, and various Elk Grove bureaucrats.
