Unfortunately, the burden of reporting to the DOJ will fall on the city of Elk Grove’s Housing and Public Services Manager Sarah Bontrager.
For those of us who have paid attention for many, many years, Sarah has done an outstanding job for the people of Elk Grove. This dedicated public servant genuinely cares about the vital work she does for our less fortunate fellow residents.
True to form from the Elk Grove Mayor and City Council, who are always too busy breaking their arms patting themselves on the back, it has been a thankless job. Yet Sarah continues to give her job everything she has.
Correction: There may be just one Elk Grove City Council member who has noticed. . .Kevin Spease!
It's true - Mayor Bobbie is just like Trump. The former president doesn't want to be seen around wounded veterans, and the mayor doesn't want to have disabled people wandering around the Gaslight District! Have you ever seen the mayor advocate, much less be seen with disabled folks? I haven't.
Oh, did I call it the Gaslight District? I meant the Old Town Gaslamp District. Gaslighting is what the mayor does on a daily basis!
