Free Bibles & Hots Dogs - Trump supporters plan God Country Trump weekend rally, parade through Elk Grove

Supporters of Donald Trump and his presidential bid have announced plans for an Elk Grove rally and parade on local social media.
The flyer (seen above and below) with the headline "God Country Trump" has announced its plans for the Saturday, September 14 rally in Elk Grove. The event starts at 11 a.m. at the Wild Bill's at 10490 Grant Line Road.

The schedule says the vehicle caravan will leave Wild Bill's at 1 pm and proceed to the Laguna Boulevard/Bond Road overpass, presumably on northbound Highway 99.

An Elk Grove News reader shared the post on NextDoor, seen below. Our reader says that the posting appears to have been removed a short while later.

Sponsors include Destiny Church, which will provide free Bibles. Robert and Eva Wiley, realtors with Sotheby's International Realty, will supply the complimentary hotdogs.

The flyer also notes the help of FredomRiders1776.org in coordinating the event.

Is this event counter programming to the City of Elk Grove's multicultural festival which is also being held next Saturday? It would be interesting to know if they plan on taking their parade to District 56.

Is the Randy B who posted this on NextDoor the same guy that Mayor Bobbie and Rod Brewer hang with? The same guy who speaks at the city council meetings? Maybe Bobbie and Rod will skip the multicultural festival and go to the MAGA rally instead!

I believe you're right, he is their side kick. Appears now he has taken on a side job with MAGA. Political colors change so fast at City Hall it's hard to keep up with it!

Some times as a community member I am asked to post an event from someone who doesn’t do ND. It was posted as a PSA to let people know of the event if they want to go but also to let the public know it could affect traffic. Spin it how ever you want as I crack up at all the comments from those posting comments.

Hm, I wonder if Randy would be inclined to post a "housing for all" rally or the likes of it, if someone asked nicely.
