Voices of Elk Grove - 'Elk Grove is a sanctuary city for pedophilia'

During the Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Elk Grove City Council meeting, a resident appealed for help locating her daughter.



The speaker, who identified herself as Tanya Vera-Scheer, said she was seeking help to locate her daughter, who she claimed was kidnapped. Ms. Vera-Scheer claimed Mayor Bobbie SIngh-Allen, councilmen Rod Brewer, Sergio Robles, Kevin Spease, and Darren Suen had not responded to her emails seeking assistance.

Expanding her claims, Vera-Scheer said that actions against her daughter were based on religion and politics. Vera-Scheer said she was "tagged as an abusive mom for religious and conservative beliefs."

Turning around and speaking to the audience who filled the city council chamber that attended the swearing-in of Singh-Allen, Spease, and Suen, Vera-Scheer turned to the audience and made a startling claim. "I'm not sure if the public knows that Elk Grove is a sanctuary city for pedophilia."
