Happy Anniversary, Dan.
This "news minute" makes me pause briefly to think of the likely additional corruption & unethical behavior that would exist at our city hall if this website were not in place to at least keep some degree of exposure on our electeds. 95% of this city's populous has no idea what goes on at city hall, a few pay attention. Without this website, our local government would have no watchdog, making them free to take advantage of every taxpayer and child they've sworn to represent. EGN serves this community, whether you read it or not. Carry on, EGN! Thank you for your service.
Happy Birthday EGN--but you are more than a "pissant mutt". You are the safecracker who for 17 years, has been trying to unlock the dark vault they call City Hall and shine your light beyond the canned news they call press releases. EGN, they might not like you, but I'm sure they read you every day! Here's to 17 more!
