2024 was an outstanding year for Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen. Along with winning her record-setting third term, of equal importance, Singh-Allen had a successful fundraising year.
According to state-mandated campaign financial disclosures filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk, Singh-Allen raised $113,741. After accounting for her previous cash balance and expenses, Singh-Allen entered 2025 with $166,435.

Singh-Allen is reportedly eying to challenge fellow Democrat and former city council colleague, California Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen in the June 2026 primary. Nguyen easily won a second term in November and will seek another term in 2026.

Yet she gives herself a 300% raise and still can’t pay her taxes. This city has their collective heads buried in the zoo sand. I guess this is what we deserve. So sad.
