As part of a nationwide backlash against Elon Musk, protest planned at Sacramento Tesla dealership

Since aligning himself with then-candidate and now-president Donald Trump, Elon Musk has become the most powerful, unelected politician in the United States and perhaps the world.

Musk has been given unprecedented free reign over American institutions as part of that power. That power has led to federal employees' extrajudicial dismissals and reinstatement in a few instances.

Although Musk is wielding power over average Americans in a way that would make a dictator blush, it has not been without costs.

Tesla, the electric vehicle company led by Musk, has experienced declining sales worldwide and has substantially dropped its stock value in the last several weeks. Perhaps this is why Trump had a Tesla showing yesterday at the White House.

Not only are Americans and people worldwide disavowing Tesla and Musk with their wallets, but there is a nationwide protest against the world's largest EV manufacturer.

Recently, protests have been staged at Tesla dealerships to express displeasure with Musk and his DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). Last weekend, protesters gathered at the Arden Way Tesla dealership and plan to do so again this week.

More information about that two-hour Saturday protest is available here.

As a sign of fear, Trump said yesterday that people protesting Tesla are terrorists. It is only a weak and mentally feeble person who can't stand criticism from people with the constitutional right to express their beliefs.
