January 11, 2016 |

An Elk Grove man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after he allegedly robbed a store at knifepoint on Saturday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police, 50-year old Garrett Garcia (pictured above) entered the Dollar Tree store on Sheldon Road and confronted a cashier with a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and gave Garcia money from the cash register who then fled the store on foot.

As he was leaving the store, Garcia was confronted by responding officers who instructed him to drop the knife. Garcia was taken into custody without incident and booked into the county jail.

Garcia is being held on $50,000 bail, faces two felony and one misdemeanor charge and will be arraigned tomorrow afternoon.

What happened to his face?

Looks like there are boils growing out of his skin.
