During the Wednesday, October 26, 2016 meeting of the Elk Grove City Council, Region Builder Executive Director Tom Waltman made a public comment condemning others who regularly participate in representative democracy.
Waltman's cross words came during a discussion on the proposed $400 million Wilton Rancheria casino resort in Elk Grove. Waltman suggested those who regularly participate in civic matters possessed egos and that they only want to hear themselves talk.
